God is holy – occurs 14 times in the Old Testament – in the New Testament 12 times.
How to understand God – is a key word. The commandments in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New Testament, because God s speak to us through out the ages.
Along with the Psalms, the book of Isaiah is also the most important poetic book in the Bible. It has 66 books and comments to all the books in the bible. They all flow in the same direction, therefore the book of Isaiah is a mini Bible. God takes position in the lives of people, through the generations, all the way up to Jesus‘ second coming.
The Old Testament is a historical books up to Esther.
From Esther to the book of Job is a section of its own. They are so-called poetic books.

They began to make a golden calf as a substitute, with the help of Moses‘ brother Aaron. It became a recurring problem for them, through many generations, to follow the Lord’s instructions.
Isaiah book chapter 2 verse 3: Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord to the house of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, for instruction goes out of Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
A new beginning was made in the time of Moses – but when Christ comes as king in the 1000 year kingdom, what Isaiah prophesied will be fulfilled.
The commandments in Leviticus were mainly given in the year they stayed at Mount Sinai, where God gave Moses laws and regulations about the priesthood. They also refer to the crucifixion of Jesus and the 1000 year reign with Jesus as king.
Isaiah says in chapter 3 verse 10: Blessed is the righteous, for he shall enjoy the fruit of his doings. By keeping the law, God would see them as righteous.
Verse 14: It was necessary to keep the law, and pay close attention to the offerings, if they overlooked this very important part, the expected blessing was withheld.
In the New Testament the crucifixion is the most important part. The forgiveness of sins makes us completely righteous in God’s sight. All transgressions of the law were paid for on the cross from the beginning of time and as long as we live. Therefore, the crucifixion of the Son of God is the most important and greatest act in the universe.

They therefor walked around in Sinai, until they finally entered Canaan under the guidance from Joshua, the brother to Moses. Even though the people were stubborn and rebellious, God had chosen them, and He was with them through thick and thin, helping them every time they sought Him.

However – I will not tear it away from you in your days because of David your father, but I will tear it away from your son. After Solomon’s death, Israel was divided into two, Judah and Israel, just as the Lord had said.
Of the 19 kings in Israel and 20 in Judah, only 7 in Judah were more or less right in God’s eyes over a period of 430 years.

All the leading priests and leaders became more and more faithless and followed the detestable customs of the surrounding nations. They defiled the temple, that the Lord had sanctified. Again and again the Lord sent warnings through his messengers, but they only mocked them. Finally, God brought the king of the Chaldeans against them. Those who managed to escape were taken to Babylon and made to serve as slaves. All the vessels and treasures of the Lords temple was also taken to Babylon. Finally the temple was set on fire, and the walls of Jerusalem were torn down.
This condition in Jerusalem lasted 70 years, until Cyrus king of Persia sent the following message: The Lord God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem. May the Lord God be with everyone among all of his people.
Book of Daniel – Daniel was also taken to Babylon and made to serve King Nebuchadnezzar. He fasted and prayed a lot for his people. Angels showed and explained him God’s plan for the future, right up to the first and second coming of Christ.
It is known and proven that Daniel’s prophetic writing are completely accurate up to the birth of Jesus. Only a few of the Jews understood Jesus‘ first coming. Therefore the time after the birth of Jesus, when they were driven out, until they returned from the 4 corners of the world to the promised land, is called the lost years for the Jews. They do not exist in Daniel’s prophecy.
The New Testament was given to the Gentiles. This was also in God’s plan. Daniel prophesied to the Jews only after they returned to the promised land.

Daniel was explained by Gabriel that a week is compared to 7 years in prophecy. Gabriel proclaims 7 weeks and 62 weeks = 69 weeks.
Together it is 483 years.
The 7 weeks are most likely the time it took for Ezra and Nehemiah to rebuild the temple and the walls of Jerusalem, and until the people had returned.
The time in between is the New Testament and does not exist in the book of Daniel which was written exclusively for the Jews.
Daniel chapters 11 and 12 describe the various rulers up to the time of the New Testament. It has been proven to be completely correct. Thus, the Jews have written their own world history in prophecy.
