The book of Romans.

Romans chapter 1 verse 9-15. Paul wished sincerely, that he could preach the gospel in Rom also, but he newer had a real chance to do so. The book was written, during his one and half a year stay in Corinth, were he was teaching and preaching the word of God.

Luther, who brought Reform in the Roman dominated countries, was later on inspired by his teaching.

Romans chapter 1 to 3: Paul go deep into some questions, a lot a people also ask to day. What about the people who newer had a chance to hear the gospel, how are they saved? Are they also saved, if they believe in something else and in other so called other gods?

Anyone with bible knowledge knows, how much God dislike other so called gods.

As we grow in life, we learn to depend on our self, only seeing our own righteousness. If God exist, he will save us, because we have tried our best in life. A view that many people have, but overlooking the small voice inside that is afraid of what is coming.

Christianity is an experience with God and a key to overcome sin.

We are saved by grace not by works, salvation is a choice.

Every sinner knows, they are a sinner.

How to find God is a big question? When I was a child, I knew that God existed and that I was his child, I do not think, anybody told me.

Children are very open to hear about God, it is given them from birth.

As they grow up, they learn to depend on other tings. Children are also not responsible for their salvation, but at some point in life God make them responsible for their choices.

Romans chapter 1 verse 20: Since creation of the world, his invisible attributes is clearly seen and being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

Therefor nature is our bible number two. Even without the bible we should be able to recognize God in creation, because the Holy Spirit reviles him. When someone is demon possessed, it also a witness, that there is another world out there.

Every thing around us teaches us something about God. If we open our heart to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we will have a revelation of creation, its beauty and perfection, realizing there has to be a creator somewhere.

Romans chapter 1 verse 21: Even so they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor were thankful, but became futile in their thought and they’re foolish heart were darkened.

John chapter 1 verse 4: In him, Jesus, was life and the life became the light of men and the light shined in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it.

They started to worship the creation instead of its maker.

The history of the Jewish people shows this trap over and over again.

Anything, any way man can do to get saved, he has chosen.

Many scientists today have realized the truth and that Darwin may not have written, what he did, if he had lived today.

It is incredible, that Darwin’s theory is teached everywhere, even so the theory has newer been confirmed scientifically. Mankind prefers to believe on himself, even without prove.

Romans chapter 2 verse 12 – 16:   Paul is here doing a difficult explanation regarding our consciousness.

As many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, for it is not the hearers of the law, but the doers of the law that will be justified.

He goes on to say: If the gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, are they not a law to themselves.

Their conscience bearing witness between themselves, they’re thought excusing or accusing them.

We see, it is the prompting of the consciousness for right or wrong, which comes from the Holy Spirit, that Good judge.

Romans chapter 9 verse 1: Paul goes on to say: I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing witness in the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 12: For our boasting is this: The testimony of our conscience, that we conduct ourselves in the world

in simplicity and godly sincerity and not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God toward you.

2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 2: We have renounced the hidden ting of shame not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every mans conscience, in the sight of God.

Paul was actually a big sinner at the beginning. He persecuted the Christians before Christ talked to him from heaven on the road to Damascus, resulting him being blind for 3 days.

Notice Paul said: Not handling the word of God deceitfully.

Matthew chapter 12 verse 32: Anyone who speak a word against the son of man, it will be forgiven him, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the age to come.

I newer heard anyone preach about that subject in the church.

Man does sin and it is forgiven him through the blood of Christ.

To sin against the Holy Spirit, is to deny fellowship with God almighty, through what we say and do.

That means fellowship with God is lost for all eternity.

Hebrew chapter 10 verses 5 – 7: Therefor when Jesus came into the world he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me. In burnt offering and sacrifice for sin you had no pleasure.

Then I said: I have come in the volume of the book, it is written of me to do your will O God.

Paul in his letter to the Hebrew people explained the mystery of the cross. The law had to be established, before forgiveness could come into the world.

People who deny and do not accept salvation through the cross will be judged at the end of time according to the law. Therefor the law is still active as an universal law. The law was good, but it could not save mankind from his sinful nature.

The word of God confirms over and over, that it is the blood of Christ that saves us from our sin. There is an interesting video on you-tube from Ron Wayettwho has gone home to be with the Lord for some years by now. He is behind several biblical archeological discoveries like the Arch of the covenant, which was discovered in the garden of Getsmania. He managed to take a blood sample from the Arch and have it analyzed in a laboratory in Jerusalem. The test shows, that the blood is active alive today, it has chromosomes from the mother but none from the father. The video has been on you-tube only since a few years, it is therefor also an old video. The Arch is not to view for public, but it safe behind massive blockade of construction in Jerusalem. I have seen it from outside myself. This discovery is a witness to the blood of Jesus Christ still being alive, because God is the Father, and he cannot die.

The law is the third revelation of God, if we come against it, we will be judged. Because mankind does sin, the law became a preparation for the sacrifice on the cross and the acceptance for believers into the kingdom of God. If we deny Christ, we deny our salvation.

Galatians chapter 3 verse 11: No one is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for the just shall live by faith.

Romans chapter 7 verse 8: Sin taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire, for apart from the law sin was dead.

Romans chapter 4 verse 7-8: Blessed are those who lawless deeds are forgiven and whose sin are covered. Blessed is man, whom God impute no sin.

Romans chapter 5 verse 1: Being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Verse 3-5: We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance and character and character hope and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 19: To know the love of Christ which passes all knowledge, that you may be filled with the fullness of God.

Exodus chapter 36 onward.  Moses was instructed by God how to handle all the offerings and to teach the children of Israel to carefully observe them.

They all have a deeper meaning related to the perfect sacrifice on the cross. Therefor, when the sacrifice was done on the cross, at the appointed time, there was no more need to observe those rituals.

The outer court in the temple of meeting represent our bodies.

The holy place our soul.

The most holy place our spirit.

The law was established in the book of Leviticus.

Chapter 1: Burnt offerings.

Chapter 2 Grain offerings.

Chapter 3 Peace offerings.

Chapter 4 sin offerings.

Chapter 5: Trespass offerings and offerings with restitutions.

Leviticus chapter 1: Burnt offering of the livestock has to be without blemish. The person shall put his hand on the head of the animal and it shall be accepted on his behalf. The priest shall thereafter sprinkle the blood on the altar.

Leviticus chapter 2 verse 2: The grain offering has to be mingled with oil and Frankincense, it became a sweet aroma to the Lord, a perfect offering.

Verse 10-16:  It is the most holy offering made by fire to the Lord.

We se the first fruit offering is added to it, but it is not to be burned by fire.

Leviticus chapter 3: Peace offering is an animal burnt by fire. The difference is, that the entrails, the kidney and the fat is removed and burned by fire on the altar by the priest as food for the priest.

Verse 17: The fat and the blood you shall not eat.

Leviticus chapter 4 – cover the sins offering which is quite complicated, because there are rules for the priest as well as for the people.

If the priest sin and thereby bring sins on the people, he has to bring a young bull without blemish an offering made by fire.

The blood had to be sprinkle before the veil of the sanctuary 7 times and on the tabernacle of meetings, on the horns and on the Alter as a sweet offering to the Lord.

The entrails, the kidney and the fat had to be removed and burned on the altar as a sweet offering to the Lord.

The head and the flesh of the bull was carried outside the camp and burned on a clean place, where also the ashes were poured out.

Jesus died outside the camp for the sin for all mankind. His blood was brought on the altar and he was transformed into a new body, thus making way for such who choose salvation.

Can it be, that Jesus after he was raised first went to his Father and thus carrying his blood with him? It is not exactly stated in the word.

Mary Magdalene John chapter 20 verse 17: He said to Marry Magdalena, after he was raised, when they meet in the garden

Getsamia: Do not cling to me, for I have not jet ascended to my Father and your Father, my God and your God.

The rules for all sort of sin offerings also sins un intensely done is explained inthe following chapters in Leviticus.

It must have been very difficult to follow all those commandments.

The book Leviticus is a book full of rules and regulations that became a power to the religious people and often was misused to put people in bondage.

Romans chapter 3 verse 20: Therefor by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in his sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Verse 21: The righteousness of God is revealed through the law and the prophets.

That is to say, that it is not possible to be righteous in the sight of God, because we have all sinned. I also think, that we all, at some point in life, realize that we have a sinful nature.

God offer is to forgive and renew us for all eternity.

Romans chapter 8 verse 15: We have not received again the spirit of bondage to fear, but we have received the spirit of adoption, by whom we cry: Aba Father.

Romans chapter 8 verse 1-2: There is therefor no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit. For the law of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

We need to keep in mind continually and also confessing, that we are born again and that we are righteous in the sight of God, even so we at time need forgiveness and restoration, because we still exist in the flesh and are not jet restored. Only Jesus Christ was sinless in nature.

The Christian faith is an experience with God and a key to learn to overcome sin. Therefor if we deny Christ, we can possibly not have the experience of being born again. Jesus said in the gospel of

John chapter 3 verse 5: No one can enter the kingdom of God, unless he is born again of spirit and of water.

In John chapter 14 verse 10-11 Jesus said: I am in the Father and the Father is in me. The signs and miracles that follow him was a testimony to the power of God eternal.

The only two people who did great signs and wonder before Jesus time was Moses and the prophet Elijah. They also appear in the transfiguration together with Jesus on the Mount of Olive.

In the book of Romans chapters 9-19-11 Paul analyze and describe Gods plans for the Jewish people as well as for the gentiles.

Romans chapter 9 verse 25: I will call them my people who were not my people and the bellowed who was not the bellowed, referring to the gentiles.

Verse 30: Israel pursuing the law did not obtain righteousness.

Romans chapter 10 verse 4: For Christ is the end of the law to every one who believe.

Verse 17: Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

That is to say, that we receive the word in faith and act it out in righteousness with thanks giving.

We actually have a legal right to demand something from God based on his word. God have given us authority to rule over the earth according to his law. It will only be perfected, when Christ comes to reign.

Whatever we ask shall be in line with the word and received with thanks giving.

Romans chapter 11 verse 25: Blindness has in part happen to Israel, until thefullness of the gentiles comes in.

Verse 26: The deliver will come out of Zion and he will turn away ungodliness from Zion.

Verse 27: For this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins.

Verse 28: Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.

When Jesus walked on earth some recognized him and also believed on him. Also today some Jews have realized the truth.

As a whole, they where called for the law, which they stumbled over again and again. In this way God shoved the rest of the world, man cannot save himself by effort, he need to be delivered.

All Israel will be delivered when Christ return second time in the sky at the end of time to deliver Israel.

Romans chapter 14:  Weare encouraged not to judge one another, concerning what we eat and what day we regard as a day of rest. The law has been fulfilled and the price was paid.

Verse 15:  Paul conclude with the law of love and admonish us to bear one an others burden.
