The day of the Lord

The third world war – by Joel.

Joel is one of the minor 12 prophets, and is considered to be a prophet of the early days of Israel.

The text itself is hard to understand, because it covers a period of several centuries. The main subject is the final day of the Lord.

Joel chapter 1 verse 2 – 3:Listen, has anything like this happen in your days.

The prophecy runs dawn through the generations.

Joel chapter 1 verse 4 – 7:Description of the four types of locust.

The locust is described as – gnawing, swarming, creeping and stripping.

It is to assume, that a heavy devastating plague of locust in the land, happen in the time of Joel. He uses the plagues symbolical, concerning the latter days prophecy, which is also referred to – as the terrible day of the lord.

Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12:We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against rulers, powers and world forces, against darkness and spiritual forces in heavenly places.

Verse 13.Therefor take on the full armor of God, that you will be able to resist in the evil day, having done everything to stand firm.

Verse 14:Having girded you loins with the truth, and having putting on the breastplate of righteousness.

Verse 15:Your feet guided with the gospel of peace.

Verse 16: The shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Verse 17:Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

It will be hard not to be deceived, when the end time draws near, if we are not guided by the above spiritual gift, because it will be a very peculiar time, with much deception in the world, because Satan is aware of, that his time is short.

As overcomers, with the spirit of Christ, we should be able to conceive from within, when the spirit warns, and when the time draws near.

Matthew chapter 24 verse 7:Nations will rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms, and in various places there will be famine and earthquakes.

Verse 8:All this is merely the beginning of birth pangs.

The beginning of sorrows is the last 3,6 years which cover most of the book of Revelation. Disaster after disaster of all kind, also such as have newer been seen before, are going to occur.

There are principles in the word of God, on how the earth function.

At first Adam and Eve sinned, from a perfect life in the presence of God, their life became hard, and death had entered humanity.

Cain killed Abel because of jealousy – Abels offering was pleasing in Gods sight, but Cains God rejected, because he did not offer his best.

God is the creator of all things and is to be acknowledged above all.

Therefor some disaster happens, because mankind reaps what has been sown.

It is recommended to read the following chapters for better understanding.

Joel chapter 2 verse 1 – 11: Invasion of Israel – in short repeating of Revelation.

Ezekiel chapter 38 verse 2:Gog and Magog is considered to be Russia.

Verse 5: Persia – Iran.

Ethiopia and Put – Libya.

Countries that will invade Israel possibly in the near future.

Today we can observe, those countries taking their position according to prophecy centuries ago. The time is near.

Ezekiel goes on to explain in chapter 39 – how God will deal with them.

Verse 12:For seven month after the final war, the house of Israel will cleanse the land, for corpses and weapons.

Verse 25 – 29:Israel restored.

Matthew chapter 25 verse 11 – 12.The parable of the 10 virgins.

5 virgins were ready to enter the wedding – 5 were not, because they were not prepared with enough oil in their lamps.

To be ready is to have made a decision for eternity.

Jesus said: If you truly love me, you will keep my word. Therefor bible knowledge is part of knowing the lord. If we ignore the Lord, he will ignore us.

In verse 12 Jesus answered the virgins that were not ready:

Truly I say to you I do not know you.

Even people who have newer heard the gospel, look for something supernatural, and recognize something eternal in creation. God will be their judge according to their understanding.

Romans chapter 1 verse 20: Since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen and being understood, through that what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

The church will be removed before the last terrible days. They will be taken up to a wedding ceremony with the Lord and return with him, when he comes in the sky to the people of Israel, and to the world. All believers will thereafter reign with Jesus Christ for 1000 years before entering eternity.

There will be a time of restoration on planet earth and reaching out to those people who went through the tribulation.

1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 51:Behold I tell you a mystery, we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a moment in a twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and then we will be changed.

First bodily resurrection of those who have gone to be with the Lord – then we who are alive will be taken up to join them for a wedding ceremony with the Lord.

Jesus became a new creation, man and God – and we are going to be like him.

All this is scriptural, and I hope not confusing. We are destined to reign with Lord Jesus Christ for all eternity.

Ron Wyatt has made several discoveries from the biblical time – like Noah’s Arch and the Arch of the Tabernacle.

The blood on the Arch was a secret for years, but the result of the analyses has become public today.

The blood is still alive, it has chromosomes from the mother and an x but none from the father. It should therefor not be alive.

Ron Wyatt himself testifies about it on an old video.

( the blood on the Arch of the Covenant )

Jesus Christ did become one with mankind. He overcame dead and sent his Spirit. He will renew our body at the end of this age, and we will be like him and reign with him for all eternity. We are destined to be children of God eternal by choice.

Joel chapter 1 verse 8 – 14:There will come a time for the Jewish people to prepare them self for the coming of their Messiah.

The prophet say – mourn and fast for the bridegroom, the field is ruined and the land morns.

Verse 13:gird yourself with sackcloth and lament o priest.

Verse 14:Consecrate a fast, for the day of the Lord is near.

Verse 19:Fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and flame has devoured all the trees of the field, the water brooks are dried up.

Ezekiel chapter 38 – 9:You will come like a storm, you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and many people with you.

Ezekiel chapter 38 verse 11:I will go up against the land without unprotected villages, I will go against those who are at rest.

This is future – it is the 3 world war. It can be, that Israel will, at first, be attacked from the air in order to weaken them, for thereafter to be attacked from mighty armies with modern weapon.

Joel chapter 1 verse 9:The grain offering and the drink offering are cut of from the house of the lord.Leviticus chapter 23 – 33.

It should not surprise us, that the third temple has been established, with all the offerings at that point of time, because in the end of time, antichrist is going to proclaim himself to be God in the temple.

Matthew chapter 24 verse 15:Therefor when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place.

Verse 29 – 30 :Immediately after the tribulation of those days-  the sign of the son of man will appear in the sky.

Since the word says inEzekiel chapter 38 verse 11- the land is at rest, a peace treaty have been made before the attack.

Antichrist will appear on the world scene with a proposal to world peace, which will be established for 7 years.

See Daniel chapter 9 verse 27:He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, counting 7 years. He going to put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering in the middle of the week, 3,6 years – there will thereafter be total destruction on the one whom Jesus calls abomination of desolation.

Joel chapter 2 – the terrible visitation.Verse 1: Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm on my holy mountain.

The day of the Lord is coming, a day of darkness and gloom.

Highlight on some of the verses.

There has newer been anything like it, and newer will be again. A fire consumes before them and behind them a flame burns. Nothing at all escapes them. They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like soldiers and march in a line. They do not deviate from their pat and burst through the defenses. They walk in ranks, and they climb into houses. They enter through the windows like a chief.

It sounds like some kind of robots.

Joel 2 verse 10:The earth quakes and the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon grow dark and stars lose their brightness.

Joel chapter 2 verse 12:Even now declares the Lord: Return to me with all your heart, with fasting weeping and morning.

Chapter 2 verse 13:The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness, and relenting of evil.

Joel chapter 2 verse 15:Blow a trumpet in Zion and consecrate a fast.

The Lord is calling his people to get ready for his return.

Joel chapter 2 verse 16:Let the bridegroom come out of his chamber and the bride of her bridal camber. The bride is the church.

She is already in heaven waiting to return with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Joel chapter 2 verse 17:Let the priest weep between the porch and the alter.

Let them say – spare you’re your people 0 Lord.

Why should they say: Where is their God.

Revelation chapter 16 – 16:  I will remove the northern army far from you.

Here comes the battle of the century.

The battle of Armageddon, which the Lord himself will fight

Revelation chapter 19 verse 15:From the mouth of the Lord comes a sharp sword, so that with it he might strike dawn the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron.

He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God.

On his robe and thigh he has a name written: King of kings and lord of lords.

Joel chapter 2 verse 30:Description of the day of the Lord.

Signs in the sky and on the earth. Blood, fire and smoke.

The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood.

Joel chapter 2 verse 32:Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered.

There will be those of the Jews and mankind who escape this disastrous time.

Revelation chapter 16 verse 18:There was flashes of lightning, and sound of peals of thunder, and there was a great earthquake such as has never been seen since man came upon the earth.

Verse 19:The great city ( Jerusalem ) was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations feel.

Verse 20:Every island fled, and the mountains very not found.

Joel chapter 3 verse 12:The day of the Lord is also a day of judgment on the surrounding nations to Israel. There will be a day of judgment after the Lords return.

Revelation chapter 19 – 7:The marriage of the lamb, consist of the church taken up, and those who was killed during the tribulation.

Revelation chapter 7 – 14.  She is clothed in fine linen, the righteous act of the saint

Revelation chapter 5 verse 10: You have made them to be a kingdom of priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth – meaning the saints.

Joel chapter 2 verse 18 – 28.God promises restoration of the land, and promise the people newer again, to make them a reproach among the nations.

You will be satisfied with grain, new vine and oil, and with the first and the latter rain.

Joel chapter 2 verse 25:I will make up to you for the years, what the swarming the creeping the stripping and the gnawing locust has eaten.

You will praise the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you.

Then my people will newer again be put to shame.

Joel chapter 2 verse 28:The promise of the Holy Spirit to the Jews, which already was given to the church – described inActs chapter 2.

The Jews was blended for our sake:John chapter 12 verse 40.

These are only some of the many scripture given to the believers, so that nothing will surprise them, but foremost to be ready for the day of the Lord.

We should not be taken by surprise because the lord has told his prophet long ago. Also the gospel will be preached to the end of the earth, and then the end will come.
